Last Day To Register To Vote

Oct. 12 is the deadline for registering to vote in the Nov. 2 general election.

The county is reminding residents that Tuesday is the final day to register to vote to participate in the Nov. 2 general election.

According to a release on the township's website, those residents who will be 18 or older by Nov. 2 may register to vote.

The Somerset County Board of Elections will be open for residents 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to allow for voter registration. The office is on the first floor of the Somerset County Administration Building on 20 Grove Street in Somerville. Visitors can park for free at the nearby Bernie Field Parking Deck.

Residents can also download a New Jersey Voter Registration Application at the Somerset County Board of Elections website, and bring it to the township clerk's office at 100 Commons Way.
