The department has received a $151,000 grant to buy two patrol cars and a four-wheel drive vehicle, Township Administrator James Naples said at Monday’s council meeting.

The police also received a $19,141 grant to fund extra drunken driving patrols.

”It’s a very wonderful program,” Naples said.
