Poll: What Do You Think of the 2012 Budget?

Public hearing for the budget is coming up April 2.

The township council recently introduced its , with a $65 increase in taxes and a 4.5 percent increase over the 2011 budget.

So, we wanted to know your thoughts on what is being proposed thus far.

The municipal tax for a Bridgewater resident is set at $1,053 for a home assessed at the township average of $411,662. This is an average increase of $65 over the 2011 municipal taxes.

Individual departments have not yet presented their budgets at this point, but a public hearing and possible final vote is expected April 2 at the 7:30 p.m. council meeting.
