Property Value Testimony to Continue Tuesday

T-Mobile returning for final testimony.

After initial testimony Feb. 22 from real estate appraiser Robert Heffernan concerning a cell tower's affects on property values in the neighborhood of the , T-Mobile attorney Greg Meese is expected to continue his cross examination at Tuesday's zoning board meeting.

Heffernan was hired by resident Joseph Kirk to evaluate property values in the area of the fire company and how they will change if T-Mobile is approved to build its 130-foot cell tower.

Heffernan testified at the Feb. 22 zoning board meeting that building the cell tower at the fire company would affect the property values of the area homes. He said there are no similar towers anywhere in the vicinity in Bridgewater, and that properties in other towns with a view of a similar sized cell tower have experienced falling property values.
