Senior Health Fair Coming to Bridgewater Thursday

The Annual Spring Senior Health Fair on Thursday, March 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bridgewater Senior Citizens Center. 

The Center is located at 455 Somerville Road, Bridgewater.

The free event will provide free health screenings and evaluations by certified health practitioners. 

Participants include the Lions Mobile Eye Center, Somerset Medical Center Community Health, Doctors Express Urgent Care, Natural Medicine and Rehabilitation, The Dermatology Center of New Jersey, Raritan Audiology, Riverwalk Chiropractic and the New Jersey Office of the Ombudsman. 

There will be over 40 senior-oriented vendor exhibits and service displays. Health evaluations will include free eye screenings, blood pressure tests, blood glucose readings, hearing evaluations, foot and arch screenings and skin cancer evaluations.  

A free continental breakfast will be available from 10 - 11 a.m. The event will also feature door prizes and raffles courtesy of the exhibitors at the event. All individuals in the Central New Jersey area are welcome to attend. 

The fair is a component of the Bridgewater Mayor's Wellness Campaign, which is dedicated to promote active-living and healthy lifestyle initiatives in the community.
