Football Air Show!

The Bridgewater Raritan Panthers and Hillsborough Raiders put on an air show and filled the sky with footballs this past Friday night at David A. Noonan field.

Both teams thrilled, providing the packed house with an exciting back and forth performance. At the end of the night it was Hillsborough gaining their first win, 34-27. BR is now a disappointing 1 and 2.

Senior quarterback Michael Fair was outstanding for the Panthers; throwing, running and even kicking field goals. Senior receivers Josh Robbins, Nate Melewski and Matthew Eichhorn all reaped the benefits of Fair's accurate arm.

On the other side, senior Raider quarterback Rob Nittolo was also outstanding, hitting his receivers in stride, including a beautiful "nail in the coffin" 80 yard TD toss with two minutes left in the game.

Bridgewater Raritan continues to travel well, bringing a huge contingent of fans south down Route 206 to cheer for the Panthers. The crowd was once again led by a large group of rowdy and passionate Zoo Crew members. The boys on the field greatly appreciate the strong support from all.

Up next, BR is home this Friday night at 7 pm versus Franklin. Flight plans are now, no doubt being created, for what should be another high energy air show under the lights at John Basilone Memorial Field.
