Good food, nice people, but I did - get skeeved out when I saw an employee handle money then handle meat for an order w/o gloves. That said, I just researched and the articles I found said that while unappetizing, handling money then making others' food isn't so bad, biologically speaking, as bacteria and other critters don't do well on room-temp stuff like currency. *shrug*

Good food, nice people, but I wish the morning crew would wear gloves or use utensil more when prepping food (they do when the owner is around). That said, I just researched and the articles I found said that while unappetizing, handling money then making others' food isn't so bad, biologically speaking, as bacteria and other critters don't do well on room-temp stuff like currency. *shrug*

Hoagie Hut dude was not only unsanitary, but rude...so I don't go there any more. Steck's (North) for quality and finesse, and Rock Deli for blue-collar authenticity and amusing staff. Honorable mention: Not quite in Bridgewater, L'il Pickles (Rt 202/206N in Bedminster) is worth a visit, especially for bagels. Then again, it's as close to Bridgewater as Steck's North.
