Sanofi Volunteers Bring Early Halloween to Matheny

Sanofi is a diversified global healthcare company whose U.S. headquarters are in Bridgewater. Volunteerism, according to the company website, is "one of our cornerstones for social responsibility. It is the way that our employees show solidarity with others in need."

Halloween arrived a little early at the Matheny Medical and Educational Center in Peapack because 12 volunteers from Sanofi U.S. visited adult patients on Friday, October 11, to help paint pumpkins and make other decorations in preparation for the eagerly anticipated annual holiday.

Matheny is a special hospital and educational facility for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. Its adult services program, both at its main Peapack campus and at its Hillsborough Adult Learning Center, provides a specialized integrated day program for persons 21 years and older. Volunteers from the community -- both individuals and corporate groups such as Sanofi -- are always welcome. For more information about volunteer opportunities, call (908) 234-0011, ext. 282, or email volunteers@matheny.org.
