Brandi Gill Named Student of Month at Vo-Tech

She received this honor for the month of April.

A Bridgewater resident, and student in the auto body program at the Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School, has been chosen as the school’s Full Time Student of the Month for April.

Brandi Gill, a junior at the school, has received the honor for this month.

Gill was nominated by guidance counselor Sarah Morelli-Stutz for maintaining an excellent GPA and being a responsible person, according to a release from the school.

In addition, Gill’s auto body teacher, George Byrd, has described her as persistent, consistent and inquisitive.

At the school, Gill is also a member of the softball team, was inducted into the National Honor Society and is a member of SkillsUSA, with which she will be competing in the Auto Body Custom Painting category in the New Jersey SkillsUSA Championships.

Outside school, the release said, Gill is a member of the 4-H Go Kart Club, where she serves as secretary, and has a job at Wendy’s.

Gill is planning to pursue a business degree after graduating from the high school.
