BRHS Students of the Week, March 8

Students are chosen to be honored at the high school.

As part of a new program at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School instituted by new principal Brett Charleston, at least one student is chosen every week to be honored for his or her contributions to the community at some point that week.

In this column, we will honor those students each week, with the information included in Charleston's weekly principal's column, on the school's website.

Congratulations to the most recent honorees!

  • Olivia Canada—(nominated by the Main Office Staff) Canada always comes to the office with a smile on her face and eagerly tackles any project assigned to her. She  is a positive addition to the main office and we appreciate all that she does. She is truly a mature, professional young adult with a very bright future.
  • John Settembrino—(nominated by Alison Ward and Steven Diamond) Recently, Settembrino's class had group presentations and a student in a different group found himself needing to present his project all alone because his partner was absent. He came forward and offered to help the other student present his project. Not only was it a generous offer but, by presenting, he demonstrated that he was knowledgeable about the other group’s chapter. This showed what a good job he did reading, "The Book Thief."
