BRHS Students of the Week Named, Oct. 12

Students are chosen to be honored at the high school.

As part of a new program at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School instituted by new principal Brett Charleston, at least one student is chosen every week to be honored for his or her contributions to the community at some point that week.

In this new column, we will honor those students each week, with the information included in Charleston's weekly principal's column, on the school's website.

Congratulations to each week's honorees!

  • Jamie Klauber—(nominated by Robert Thorpe) Klauber consistently performs at a high academic level while also being a positive force in the classroom. Klauber also routinely helps others and leads many of our classroom discussions.
  • Matthew Mirlocca—(nominated by Denise Goodhue and Holly Khong) Mirlocca, without being asked, got textbooks for all of the students in class because he had gotten to class early. Mirlocca also, without being asked, distributed laptops to his classmates and did not get a computer for himself until the rest of the class had theirs. Mirlocca also helped return laptops for his classmates.
