COACH'S TAKE
"I was pleasantly surprised today. We had our passing game and looked very good today. We had our angles and we were there for our complimentary passes. Defensively, we were solid. Our circle play presented a lot of opportunities and we were not able to finish, they finished enough scorewise, but quality goals and goals that are going to the ESPN highlight reel were not there. It is a young team and we had a couple freshman starting today." - Head coach Kathie DeBonis
THEY SAID IT
"We really pulled it together. We had a shakey pre-season, but we stepped it up today. It was a good first game."—Rachel Yaney
