Other facts
As many of you know, I am a recently appointed member to the Board of Ed, effective Nov. 2011. I was encouraged to apply for the vacancy by 2 of my neighbors, one a school teacher and one not. I came into the process with no agenda and I continue to have no agenda moving forward. I am seeking re-election because I believe in the betterment of the community and our schools; if no one gets involved this is not possible. I am a graduate of Kearny High School and served in the US Navy for 6 years. Upon my discharge, I moved to my father's home in Martinsville and attended RVCC for my AS in Business Administration. My first job was at National Starch and Chemical where I met my wife, Kelly. I found my true calling as an electrician and have worked through my union at various contractors. I have also been an instructor for our apprentices and have seen the value of quality education. My wife and I moved to Bridgewater 8 years ago and began our family here. Our daughter is not in the school system as of yet but we selected Bridgewater during our home search because of the quality of schools and the community. I thank you for the privilege of serving to date and I appreciate your support and vote in November.
