Since it's founding in Oct, 2010, The Somerset County Tea Party Organization has grown into one of the top activist organizations in Somerset County.

The organization is active in monitoring County and local governing bodies and the legislation they produce. In addition, it has played an important role in combating Agenda 21, out of control spending and other issues that threaten the freedoms and rights of the citizens of Somerset County.

Educational seminars are held at SCTPO General Meetings on the Constitution, the 10th Amendment, local property rights, election fraud and a host of other issues that continue to empower the public it serves.

The organization actively encourages and supports candidates representing Tea Party policies and values.

Finally, the Somerset County Tea Party works to ensure that the liberties and freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution are actually practiced by our government officials.
