Hillside Teachers Celebrate End of School in Tradition
Teachers wave goodbye to students as they leave on the last day of school.
Tuesday was the last day of school for all students in the district—and teachers celebrated in their own special way.
According to Hillside teacher Katrina Macht, teachers at the school mark the end of the last day of the school year every June by standing outside and waving as the buses pull away. Many teachers hold up signs wishing students a good summer.
