Marching Band Boosts Raritan's Basilone Parade

Sunday's 32nd annual John Basilone Parade honoring the World War II hero from Raritan enjoyed clear skies, warm temperatures—and performances that included the Bridgewater-Raritan High School marching band.
The band was fresh off its wins in competitions at Scotch Plains-Fanwood and Edison high schools, where its finely-honed routines captured top honors.
