White said he opted to pursue the opportunity at Adamsville because of the district’s high-quality reputation.

“I am looking forward to being a part of that proud tradition of excellence as the Adamsville principal,” he said.

With four college degrees to his name, White brings a great deal of experience to the district. White has an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Camden County Community College, a bachelor’s degree in French language from Rowan University, a Master’s degree in school administration from Rowan and a Master’s degree in international studies from the Ohio University.

“I am currently enrolled in a doctorate program in education leadership at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown,” he said.

White has experience teaching several different subjects in the districts in which he has been employed.

First, White taught for more than six years in the Glassboro Public School District, working with sixth graders for five of those years in math, language arts, science and social studies. He also taught seventh and eighth grades in American civics and U.S. history.

In Prospect Park, White served as vice-principal, before moving to the Englewood Public School District to serve as principal.

“[I spent] two years as the principal of the Donald A. Quarles Early Childhood Center and three as the principal of the Dr. John Grieco Elementary School, where I am currently the principal,” he said.

White said he initially decided to become an educator because of his passion for learning.

“I consider myself a life-long learner,” he said. “I also strongly believe that being an educator allows me the extremely important opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children who are our most important constituents and who are the future leaders of the world.”

White said he brings seven years of experience as an administrator and instructional leader to the school community.

“Also, I bring to Adamsville a very strong work ethic, solid leadership and a commitment to high expectations and success for all students,” he said.
