Poll: What's the Impact of Teacher Rallies?

The demonstrations are held every Friday at the schools.

It's been about a month since the members of the began spending outside their respective schools prior to their contractual start times. The rallies are designed to show unity among the teachers as they continue negotiations for their new contract with the board of education.

Steve Beatty, president of the B-REA, has acknowledged that students and parents have asked questions about the , but that teachers do not discuss the issues with students especially.

And with the rallying continuing today as the teachers are standing outside their respective schools, we wanted to know what residents think about the process.
