Somerset Academy Students Create 'Drug-Free Me' Bracelets
Project marks annual Red Ribbon Week at Somerset County Educational Services Commission school.
Recently, students and staff at the Somerset Academy, operated by the Somerset County Educational Services Commission, promoted the 2013 theme of Red Ribbon Week, “A healthy me is drug free!”
The annual anti-drug program highlights a theme each year to keep students focused on avoiding drug, alcohol and tobacco use. Area schools marked Rd Ribbon week from Oct. 23 to Oct. 30 this year.
Students throughout the elementary and secondary programs at Somerset Academy accomplished this goal by working collaboratively to create ribbons and bracelets that were worn by all throughout the school.
