Bridgewater-Raritan Basketball Preps First-Graders

Varsity team spoke to the Pack 99 Tiger Cub Den 4 about getting ready for a game.

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School basketball team hosted the Pack 99 Tiger Cub Den 4 to show them how they prepare for a game.

The event was held Dec 18 just before the home basketball game against Immaculata, where Bridgewater defeated its rival.

The first grade boys in the pack were able to watch the varsity players warm up before the two captains, Eric Murdock, Jr and Dominic Pace, spoke to them about the team.

Then the boy scouts watched the Bridgewater-Raritan victory over rival Immaculata.

McAteer said this was the first time the basketball team had hosted the pack.

"They inquired about bringing the den to a game and we put together the rest for them," he said. "It was a nice outing for the kids."
