Bridgewater Students Win Big at National Competition

Four Bridgewater-Raritan High School students are part of a first-place winning field hockey team.

Four field hockey players were part of a team that won the USA National Indoor Field Hockey Tournament in Virginia Beach in early March.

Christen Piersanti, Dayle Paustian, Catherine Caro and Rachel Yaney were part of the team that went 5-1-1 in the pool, and received first place medals in the 16U bracket during the tournament March 11 through March 13.

According to Bridgewater parent Jolene Piersanti, the team was the only one from New Jersey to receive medals this year.
