Cheerleaders Earn National Titles

The Pop Warner cheerleaders earn top honors in 2011.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Pop Warner Jr. Midget girls cheerleaders have had a banner year, with championship wins throughout the 2011 season.

The team was named champion at the Mountain Valley Competition, and earned first place at the state qualifiers.

The team was also second place at regionals, earning the girls the chance to compete at Nationals in Walt Disney World.

For most of the team, this was the fifth consecutive year competing at Nationals, placing in the top four during those years, and finishing as a National Finalist this year.

The girls, according to squad member Karen Hawkins, are dedicated, hard working, committed atheletes and true champions to their parents, families, coaches and all of Pop Warner.
