"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" Auditions

“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” hosted by Emmy Award-
winner Meredith Vieira, will hold auditions to find contestants for the upcoming 11th season of the game show, which will premiere on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.

At the Somerset Patriots baseball game at TD Bank Ballpark, the test begins at 6:40 p.m. and the baseball game starts at 7:05 p.m. There will be a fireworks show immediately after the game.

Contestant auditions will consist of a timed multiple choice test, and, for those people who pass, a short one-on-one interview with a “Millionaire” producer.

“Between these three open-call auditions in August, we expect to see a total of 8,000-10,000 people, which is evidence to me that the simple concept of becoming a millionaire just by answering 14 trivia questions never gets old,” said “Millionaire” executive producer Rich Sirop.

For auditions at TD Bank Ballpark, producers will hold one simultaneous test session using the park’s PA system and Jumbo Tron for the first 2,500 game ticket holders (18 years of age or older) who enter the stadium.
