Fans Cheer on 2011 Somerset Patriots (Video)
The Somerset Patriots opens the season with its annual parade.
It was a perfect start to the 13th Somerset Patriots season Wednesday, as the rain held off and hundreds of people attended the annual parade through downtown Somerville.
Fans and locals alike gathered in the park outside the Somerset County Courthouse to hear music provided by School of Rock. Patriots radio announcer Adam Amin emceed the event, and Somerville Mayor Brian Gallagher thanked the team and county for the work they do.
Sparky Lyle, Somerset Patriots manager, announced the 2011 lineup.
