Panthers 16U Team Completes Undefeated Spring Season

The Bridgewater Panthers 16U Team won the USABL Central North tournament on Sunday night with a 8-1 victory against the Middletown Mutiny.  

Brandon Curtis tallied 4 RBIs with 2 hits giving the Panthers a 5 to 1 lead after 4 innings.  Nick Yurchak pitched all 7 innings with 16 first pitch strikes and 6 strike outs.  Michael Costanzo started scoring rallies with 2 leadoff hits and the team played their typical solid defense to cap off an undefeated season with 12 wins, 0 losses. 

An outstanding spring season with all the players contributing.  Coach Rich DeRosa ended the night by congratulating the Panthers teamwork, commitment and passion for the game. "Keep on Playing Great" as the Panthers start their Summer Tournaments traveling to Allentown, PA, Rehoboth Beach, DE, South Jersey and other cities.
