Sweet Laxin' Tournament Raises Funds for Field
Bridgewater Lacrosse hosts the annual event.
The 2012 Sweet Laxin' boys lacrosse tournament was held throughout the weekend at numerous locations in Bridgewater, and, on hand, were local teams from Bridgewater, Basking Ridge, Madison, Clinton, Summit and Kinnelon among others.
Teams from Long Island, Maryland and Pennsylvania were also part of the competition.
The teams included players in grades four through high school, and they played games that began Friday evening and lasted through the weekend heat, finishing Sunday afternoon. Teams played 50-minute games, with each playing five games over the weekend at such locations as , and .

Proceeds from the tournament will go to the development of a turf lacrosse facility in Bridgewater.
