Weyerhauser Redevelopment Investigation Begins This Week

Also, the Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education sets special closed session to talk superintendents.

The Planning Board is undertaking an investigation of the possible redevelopment of the 18-acre site that housed offices for the Weyerhauser Corp., after being directed to do so by the Township Council in July.

The board's first steps will be taken at Monday's board meeting, set to begin at 7 p.m. in the municipal courtroom.

The meeting is just one of this week's events and activities, which also includes a zoning board hearing on a proposed hotel on Route 22, a board of education meeting, and Bridgewater-Raritan High School freshman orientation at 10 a.m. Thursday.
