Very poor care given to my husband at Bridgeway. Rehab equipment is not sanitized following each patient's use - they only sanitize after 3 patients. Had problems with getting my husband's medication ordered on time and also they were not able to order the medical supplies he needed. I had to furnish them from my supply at home. Staff does not use hand sanitizer regularly when entering patient rooms and, when I asked them to, they seemed annoyed. Despite what they may tell you, communicable diseases are prevalent at this care center.

I had bilateral total knee replacement on February 18th 2013; the operation was done at Hunterdon Health care center. I was transferred to Bridgeway Care & Rehabilitation Center of Bridgewater on Wednesday February 20th which I chose because it was close to my home. From the 1st moment I felt I am relaxed, I was greeted by the RN Unit Manager Paula Crabb. During my stay I felt that the staff members are caring and warm. They did their best to extend their help beyond their duties. I would like to name some as an example:
Josette Caraos, RN She was my day shift primary care nurse. She cared about my well being. She was very responsive, her care was exceptional.
Poonam Salvani, DOT She was my occupational therapist; she is excellent at what she does.
She wrapped a special medical tape on my left leg covering my knee to control the swelling and improves the muscles function. This resulted in reducing the swelling by 4 inches in 4 days.
Marianne Rubia, PTS She was my physical therapist; her tremendous effort helped me improve significantly during my stay at Bridgeway. She is very caring and her efforts were always beyond her duties. After the therapy I always felt better.
