The Somerset County Business Partnership serves as the regional Chamber of Commerce, and is New Jersey's only accredited Chamber of Commerce. It works to advocate for the county's business community and provides leadership on key business initiatives. The partnership - which was formed in 1999 through a merger with the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce, the Somerset Alliance for the Future and the Somerset County Coalition for Smart Growth - addresses issues of economic and community development. It also deals with small businesses, the workforce, tourism, cultural arts, public affairs and the networking needs of its members.
