The Bridgewater Raritan Regional School District manages 11 different schools, taking students from both Bridgewater…More and the adjacent town of Raritan. All but the John F. Kennedy Primary School are in Bridgewater; the other is located in Raritan. The other schools in the district are Adamsville Primary, Bradley Gardens Primary, Crim Primary, Hamilton Primary, Milltown Primary, Van Holten Primary, Eisenhower Intermediate, Hillside Intermediate, Bridgewater Raritan Middle School and Bridgewater Raritan High School.
Including Superintendent Michael Schilder, the Board of Education includes eight members from Bridgewater, with a ninth from Raritan. Meetings are held twice a month on Tuesday evenings at 8pm, in the Newmans Lane administrative building. Two meetings a year are held at John F. Kennedy Primary in Raritan.
The Bridgewater Raritan Middle School houses all seventh and eighth grade students in the district, covering both…More Bridgewater and Raritan. Aside from the educational opportunities afforded to all students, the school provides different cultural and social experiences for students, including cultural arts programs, recognition for honor roll students, eighth grade graduation events, environmental trip and social events.
The school's language arts program includes a balanced literary approach, that includes reading and writing in several different genres and an understanding of grammar and other skills. Also included in the curriculum are mathematics classes, science, social studies, world languages, fine arts and technology studies.
