The Somerset County 4-H is holding its annual Big 4-H Rummage Sale 2012 Friday and Saturday at the center on Milltown Road, selling lots of items donated from local residents. All this week, Jersey Cares is devoting volunteers to week-long service projects all over the state in an effort to preserve Sept. 11 as a day of service and remembrance. And on Wednesday, the organization will be volunteering at The Learning Gate on Finderne Avenue. Volunteers will be working with pre-school and kindergarten aged kids with arts and crafts activities, a puppet show and a magic show.
