Man Suffers Possible Concussion After Vehicle Flips Tuesday

The Bound Brook man said he was cut off on Route 22 by an unknown vehicle.

A Bound Brook man was taken to the hospital with a possible concussion after he flipped his vehicle while driving on Route 22 in the area of Adamsville Road Tuesday afternoon. North Branch Fire Company and Green Knoll Fire Company were on the scene Tuesday to help with the rescue of the man whose car had ended up deep in the woods off the road. William Pfeiffer, 73, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital after the accident that occurred around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to Bridgewater Township Sgt. Gregory Duane, Pfeiffer was driving a 2011 Honda Civic when he lost control of the vehicle and exited the road. The vehicle, Duane said, struck a curb and an embankment before going airborne.
