'Change Starts Now' for Town's Newest Residents

Springfield family receives Habitat for Humanity home on Dutch Lane.

Volunteers, Habitat for Humanity representatives, community officials and Bridgewater residents were on hand Sunday as Habitat for Humanity celebrated the dedication of the new Brunache family home, at 4 Dutch Lane. “We have a number of groups that are acting as the welcome wagon, as well as having the neighbors here, to welcome them,” said Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Nancy Asbury. The ceremony was highlighted by speeches from representatives from local churches, area Girl Scout and Brownie troops, Habitat for Humanity and Bridgewater Township councilwoman Christine Henderson Rose.
