The township is offering extra influenza vaccines because of high levels of the disease throughout the country. According to a release from Chris Poulsen, director of Human Services, the vaccination will be offered Jan. 17 and Jan. 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the conference rooms of the municipal building. The fee is $20 for the vaccination, and no direct charge for Medicare Part B participants. According to the release, the Federal Centers for Disease Control are recommending the vaccine to all those who have not gotten it, and the Bridgewater Township Division of Health is offering it to all adults in the community.
