The North American Aerospace Defense Command has a website that now offers a Santa tracker mobile app to follow the jolly man's magical flight.

They sent him their wish lists, sat on his lap, and left cookies and milk for his arrival. Now the only thing left for children to do is track Santa's progress as he delivers gifts around the world on Christmas Eve. Instead of reaching Kris Kringle, the number put kids through to the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Commander-in-Chief’s operations, according to a description on the NORAD Tracks Santa Facebook page, which has more than …

Could their families post pictures here on Patch to show me? I'd love to catch up with them. We all go back to Santa on Christmas Eve, but in the meantime, we'll be watching you! Cheers, Patchy the Elf Add your photo by clicking on the green "Upload Photos and Videos" icon.

Colonial Christmas Shows Somerset County 200 Years Ago

Fundraiser benefits restoration of pre-Revolutionary era house.

The Jacobus Vanderveer House, nestled on Route 202/206 in Bedminster, was dressed in style thanks to the Colonial Christmas event over the last two weekends.  The Vanderveer House was decorated with an exhibition of paintings, including a specially commissioned work of a depiction of "General Knox at the Pluckemin Artillary Barracks, 1779." And David Mitchell, artistic director of Still Life Fine Event Design, created holiday decorations throughout the home. In the house, each of the rooms had re-enacters providing information about architechture, displays and the house, in addition to activities to learn about the history of this Somerset County landmark. Colonial Christmas is the major fundraiser of the year for The Friends of the …
