Students Model Back-to-School Fashions at Mall

Lord & Taylor hosts annual 'School La La' fashion show at Bridgewater Commons.

There were 21 young models who walked the red carpet at Lord & Taylor in the Bridgewater Commons Saturday afternoon as part of the store's "School La La" fashion show. The children were all dressed in the store's newest back-to-school fashions.

Back to School Means New Clothes, Electronics

There are lots of clothing and electronic offerings for back to school.

The school year is about to begin, and with it comes days shopping for new clothes, new electronics and lots more to get students back into the vein of learning and having fun. Digitally, there are many different programs providing opportunities for students as they work on their assignments both in high school and college. Cops: Two Arrested for Thefts at Lord & Taylor

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Bridgewater Township Police arrested two people last week for shoplifting at Lord & Taylor in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Leyadda Wright, 26, of Newark, was charged with shoplifting after she was allegedly found with $75.60 worth of merchandise from the store at 5:23 p.m. Feb. 10. She was also charged with criminal mischief after she was found to have caused damage to items of clothing while trying to remove the security sensors. Terrance Boone, 43, of Newark, was charged with shoplifting after he was allegedly found with $890 worth of merchandise from both Lord & Taylor and Macy's at 6:37 p.m. Feb. 8. Fire Official: Structure Fire Not Suspicious

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A fire in a home on Route 202/206 Jan. 19 was reported by the township official as not suspicious after it woke a family in the early morning hours. According to Bridgewater Township Police, a resident was awoken by his son at 1:26 a.m. because of the fire alarm activating and fire burning through the ceiling above the fireplace in the living room. All residents of the house were able to exit and escape any injury, but Bridgewater Township Police Lt. Al Nicaretta said the house was deemed uninhabitable because of severe damage from the fire. None of the houses nearby were damaged during the fire, Nicaretta said. Police said the township fire official determined that the fire may have been caused by papers that were found to be lodged next …
