We Want Answers From JCP&L, Residents Say

There are already 137 signatures on the petition to get utility company out of Bridgewater.

There are already 137 signatures on the petition created by Sunset Lake resident Neha Pallod Limaye to get JCP&L out of Bridgewater—and now she is looking to initiate a meeting with the governor and JCP&L president to get some answers. As of Friday, Limaye said, most of the residents of Sunset Lake had power restored, with the last home getting power back Monday afternoon. "There were a couple people left because of some issues, and the last person was up and running today," she said. "I am not sure about the rest of Bridgewater, but I did hear some people here and there say there were some outages." Remove JCP&L From Bridgewater, Petition Says

A Sunset Lake resident is looking for better management from the electric company.

A total of about 15 homes are on day 12 without power on Rosemary Drive, and just recently had crews out to clear wires and poles that were blocking the only exit and entrance off their street—and now they want a little accountability. Rosemary Drive resident Neha Pallod Limaye has taken that on with a petition she started Thursday to get JCP&L out of Bridgewater. "Our problem is with the management," she said, noting that she doesn't care which power company they have so long as the management does its job. "Whichever company services us has to be managed. Still out of power in Lake Hopatcong wth no answer on when it will be back on. Thank god for my generator except for having to dump $500 so far in it for gas. I have three children under 5 so i have no choice but how about some reinbursement for that cost. My electric bill would not have been that much. It seems that electric has become luxury.
