Red Mango Offering Free Frozen Yogurt

It is to celebrate the official first day of summer.

In honor of the official first day of summer, Red Mango will be offering free frozen yogurt, and many other perks, Wednesday starting from the moment the seasons change. From 7:09 p.m. [the beginning of the Summer Solstice] until closing time, guests will be treated to a free small yogurt with toppings as part of the business's First Day of Summer Bash. The celebration will also feature lots of Red Mango giveaways, and the store will be rolling out four new surprise flavors for sampling. “We are extremely excited to have so many local fans of our frozen yogurt in the short time the store has been open,” said Karen Chmelar, owner of the Red Mango location, in a release about the celebration. “The entire team at Red Mango is excited about …

Newly Opened Red Mango Brings Service to Town

Frozen yogurt shop shows community support by getting involved with sports organizations.

Not only is the Red Mango frozen yogurt shop in the Bridgewater Commons Mall brand new, but it offers something that no other location in the mall can claim: all-natural, fat free, probiotic-infused self-serve frozen yogurt with a wide variety of toppings. So far, the reviews have been glowing. “People are so happy that we’re here,” said Red Mango owner Karen Chmelar. “I hear people say over and over, ‘we’re so happy to have a healthy option in the mall.’” Providing a healthy product is important to Chmelar, which is why she chose to open a Red Mango over any other frozen yogurt franchise. I have an active lifestyle, I like to exercise and I try to eat healthy as much as I can,” Chmelar said. “That’s why I chose Red Mango over some of the …

All information from the Red Mango website. Have you tasted any of these, or others? Tell us in the comments what you like!

We have been looking forward to the opening, having enjoyed Red Mango in Florham Park by Trader Joe's (would be happy to go to both in Bridgewater, hint, hint). I love the pomegranate and tart flavors with fresh fruit and nuts. I don't go for the candy type flavors or toppings. Red Mango is worth the trip!   more ›

Leases End for Certain Mall Stores

Several stores at the Bridgewater Commons Mall have closed down.

The Bridgewater Commons Mall has a large variety of stores, ranging from clothes to accessories to food—but three of them seem to have shut down just in the last month. Timeless, New York & Co. and Easy Spirit have all shut down in the past month, and Amy Harris, marketing manager for the mall, said much of it has to do with ending leases. As for Timeless, Harris said, the lease ended, and another store will be taking its place. The store was originally a kiosk in another part of the mall. "They were a temporary tenant," she said. "A new store, Time After Time, will be opening this spring in their place." As for the other two stores, Harris said, the companies opted not to renew their leases, but the companies themselves are not shutting …

Agree with GG. An all around, not too expensive store would be appreciated.   more ›
