The NJDOT hosts an informal session to discuss the planned short term improvements for the Route 22 corridor, including closing the median u-turns. A Bridgewater resident won $63,500 when she was a contestant on ABC's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," and her episode aired Nov. 30. A portion of Route 22 near Route 202/206 was closed Tuesday after a dump truck went off the road and ruptured its fuel tanks, spilling fuel into the road. A Bridgewater couple was sentenced to 44 months in prison after being found guilty of failing to pay employment taxes. The township council rejected a proposal for shared court services with Somerville because of concerns about additional court security costs and more.

It was the most “unreal” experience for Bridgewater resident Elyse Peterson, who won $63,500 when she was a contestant on ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” “It was easily the most unreal experience of my life, and I’m still not entirely convinced that it actually happened,” she said. In May, Peterson took the audition test, which consisted of 30 questions, with the requirement that you pass before moving on to the second portion, the face-to-face interview with one of the show’s assistant producers.
