ReplyThere seems to be a lot of accidents on Berkshire Valley Road. Has anyone in Government done any homework to make this heavily traveled road safer ? It used to be a just curvey country road with few cars, Now its like a highway.I know first hand, I have a niece that had a very bad accident on a curvey section of that roadway and is still clinging to life as we speak.

I'm a republican just like you but, Christie is a different politician, he trully reaches across the isle to get things done. Romney was a poor choice by the republicans, he cant relate to normal people. Christie can. So, far as helping Obama get re elected,Christie talking to him on TV didnt change anything, the fact is we have more moochers voting than working people. End of story. "Hence 47%"

The difference is this was a natural disaster, not a bunch of leaches sucking off the government, You must be a democrat because anytime you koolaid drinking peeps go on a rant about cutting spending, the first thing you bring up is S.S, and medicare. You never mention welfare, Obama phones, the abuse of Disability, paid bus rides to go and vote for a dem, Golf trips costing billions, vacations to Africa to go and see Mendella, class trips to mexico with the daughters and their friends costing 200 million, a second inaugaration party, should I keep going ? Give help to the helpless, not the people who play the system

I'm in Snug harbor since 1976, We've had 100 year floods, tornados, hurricanes , numerous Nor easters and never even came close to what just happened. My take on this freak storm is the ocean came over Mantoloking and raised the Bay to the levels that caused the disaster. Let Fema build proper Dunes, sea walls, rock formations etc to keep this from happening again instead of handing out bottles of bleach, UGH !

Its people like you, obama and his wife that are dividing this country. This country was with out a doubt getting so much better regarding black and white. As soon as obama got in things started changing for the worse. All I see on huffington post is comments how we want to lessen whitey! So its not the whites being racist its the blacks making the racist comments. Just because someone doesnt like Obama dosent make them racist it makes them SMART!

ReplyThis is more than rediculous. I havent seen a bucket truck since this storm hit. How is it we had a few trees knocked down and have no power, yet Toms River which is 10 times the size of East Hanover had 5 ft of sea water pretty much across the entire eastern side of town, boats strewn across the highway, pretty much utter destruction has NO Gas lines, has power restored to 80 % of the town, most Businesses have power.JCP&L should be fined for being Incompetent ! All or most of our surrounding towns have partial , if not full electric service, yet they tell us another 5 -7 days. Police in Toms River are actually directing traffic, Not putting up Orange blockades, making you drive 3 miles out of your way while you have NO GAS !They actually have Road blocks checking for I Ds while going into looter prone neighborhoods(No Electric). i Dont get it, What are we missing here ?

This is so sad. The saddest part of this is how people could be so hurtful! I have a daughter that is bullied at school and it is so horrible how nothing is done about it. No body wants to do or say anything to these people. I know there are bulling laws but the problem is there is too much paperwork so the schools just let it go. I say all the time that these people who bully should be responsible for their actions. My governor Chris Christy has a very strick bulling law but if the schools do nothing about it nothing happens. We could say all we want to just ignore these people they will leave you alone, but the truth is they just keep on going they are relentless!!!
I am so sorry for the family of this people woman, but most of all I am sorry for her that she had to endure bullying. May her soul rest in peace! <3
