Michael Mariano, Neighbor

Michael Mariano has lived in New Jersey all his life. He was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. Michael then graduated from Rutgers University with a double major is Journalism and Mass Media, and History.

Besides working for The Bridgewater Patch, Michael is still a freelance producer for Friday Night Football on News 12 New Jersey. Michael started as an intern at News 12 New Jersey that led to a producer position. It was at News 12 where he was a field producer of the Devils Stanley Cup Celebration in 2003 where he met the Stanley Cup. Michael then moved on as a producer for ESPN's Cold Pizza where he would do a weekly NFL segment called NFL Game of the Week Plus with former football player Bubba Paris. Michael also interviewed Actor /Comedian George Lopez, and Former Sportscaster and Coach John Madden.

Michael's spare time consists of rooting for the Raiders, Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, and the Scarlet Knights. He also enjoys watching classic Game Shows such as "Family Feud" with Richard Dawson, and "The $100,00 Pyramid" with Dick Clark on the Game Show Network. He also enjoys watching classic TV shows such as "The Brady Bunch" and "The Dukes of Hazzard" as wells as current shows such "Law and Order SVU" and "The Apprentice." Michael's favorite movie of all time is Rocky, where he is usually reciting the lines and debating why Rocky V is better than Rocky IV. He also enjoys all types of music from Bon Jovi to Jay-Z.

Michael, who also likes working out, biking, and hanging out with his family and friends;  lives in Hillsborough with his wife Ann.
